Custom peptides
Using our state of the art peptide synthesizers peptides of up to 50 amino acids in length are routinely synthesized in milligram to gram scale quantities.
Cyclic peptides
Disulphide bridges or backbone cyclization can be introduced to create cyclic peptides.
CLIPS peptides
Pepscan has developed a versatile technology for the structural fixation of linear peptides, both applicable to peptides in solution as well as to peptides on microarrays used e.g. for antibody-screening. The technology, named CLIPS (Chemical LInkage of peptides onto Scaffolds), is unprecedented and unique in terms of mildness and efficiency.

Labeled peptides
A wide variety of fluorescent or other (e.g. biotin) labels can be introduced at practically any position in the peptide. The most common fluorescent labels are FITC, FAM, and Rhodam. Also coupled labels like Edans/Dabcyl can be incorporated for the use in FRET analysis techniques.
Specialty peptides
Unnatural amino acids can be incorporated to optimize activity or decrease enzymatic degradation.
Long peptides
Native ligation of shorter peptides allows for the synthesis of long peptides up to hundred amino acids or more.
Conjugation of peptides
Pepscan also offers conjugation services. Custom peptides can be coupled to carriers such as KLH, OVA or BSA.
