Pipeline

Pepscan is currently developing proprietary monoclonal antibodies against a number of disease-relevant G-Protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs). Using the CLIPS mapping technology the binding sites of the GPCR ligands have been identified. CLIPS immunogens mimicking the ligand binding sites have successfully been used to induce antibodies that recognize the native receptor and behave as functional antagonist.

The pre-clinical development pipeline currently contains 3 projects, mainly aiming at targets in the oncology area.

For the therapeutic peptides Pepscan is expanding into building a proprietary pipeline, initially through co-discovery collaborations with pharma partners, in which Pepscan becomes part owner of the IP for the resulting collaboration compounds. Next to that Pepscan is determining the precise target class requirements ideally suited for additional proprietary peptide drugs.

Next to Pepscan’s own pipeline, development projects on various undisclosed targets are ongoing in research collaborations with large pharma and specific antibody companies.
