Diagnostic peptides

Enabling faster and more accurate diagnostics

Peptides play an important role in the detection of disease. This is why an increasing number of diagnostic tools are employing custom-made peptides. With 25 years of experience, we have the in-house knowledge and know-how to advise you on the application and synthesis of peptides tailored specifically to your diagnostic tool. Our proprietary CLIPS™ peptides are a good example of success in this area.

There are two diagnostic applications:

Epitopes – We invented peptide-based epitope mapping. Peptide epitopes can rapidly detect antibodies produced as a response to antigens. Building on 25 years in advanced and applied peptide chemistry, we provide accurate, clear and directly applicable epitope definitions for your antibodies. Our proprietary CLIPS™ technology was developed to identify any type of epitope by constructing constrained peptides which enable the 3D spatial conformation of epitopes to be addressed.

Biomarkers – Since peptides are part of proteins, which play a fundamental role in both biological systems and diseases, they are very suitable as a biomarker. Our team of highly skilled chemists will provide you with the customized biomarker peptides you need.

Scientific and operational excellence

We are home to some of the industry’s finest chemists, applying their expertise in reproducible peptide synthesis, scaling up and analysis. Dedicated and experienced peptide specialists will work with you to draft a customized synthesis plan for our all-in-one facility in Lelystad, the Netherlands. We will tailor peptides to your needs and specifications, and through streamlined project management and strict GMP-compliant procedures ensure rapid, reproducible and high-quality diagnostic peptide manufacturing.
